Golden Retriever Adopts 3 Abandoned Kittens

When a local shelter found three tiny kittens abandoned in a box, they weren't sure what to do. Enter Max, a 5-year-old Golden Retriever with a heart of gold.

From the moment they met, Max took the kittens under his wing (or paw). He cuddles with them, lets them climb all over him, and even tries to groom them.

"It's the sweetest thing I've ever seen," says shelter volunteer Sarah. "He treats them like they're his own puppies."
